Maisha is an exclusive designer brand of Twigz Creations. Suzanne Jones founded Twigz Creations in 2009 after living in Africa for three years with her husband and four boys.
Our Philosophy
 At Maisha (Swahili for "Life"), we believe that our African artisans, along with our customers, are the most important part of our business.
We travel to Africa several times each year, seeking out those with the most talent and creativity. We then team up these amazing artists with our Western designers, to create stunning handmade pieces that are authentic, fashionable, and meet our high standards of quality.
Maisha believes in, and practices, fair trade. We personally buy our products from the African artisans that craft them. To us, their success is just as important as ours.
We also know that environmental responsibility isn't just an afterthought. Our pieces incorporate a wide variety of natural materials, some of which are also recycled/re-purposed. When an elegant piece is crafted from something that is also good for the earth, we think that makes it even more beautiful.
